Help for Individuals
At one time or another we all face
minor and major life challenges. Challenges that take
a toll on us, leaving us feeling overwhelmed, stressed
and at times symptomatic. Individual psychotherapy
is a
way
to work
through these
layers or challenges, and help us reveal our true selves;
allowing us to shine in ways we may not have believed
possible. Carol works with an individual to help them
find new ways to make meaning of their experience by
sorting out what life throws at us. She utilizes a
variety of approaches including: Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, EMDR and Emotionally
Focused Therapy for Couples and Families. Some of the
issues addressed in individual psychotherapy are:
- Depression
- PTSD/Trauma
- Anxiety
- Co-dependency
- Grief
- Aggression
- Relationship issues
- Woman's challenges
- Low self-esteem
- Separation/divorce issues
- Alcohol and substance abuse
- Dysfunctional family challenges
- Life transitions
- Life span issues
